To hold an intention is more powerful than to develop an expectation. Intentions lead us forward and create ample opportunity for unexpected solutions to develop. Expectations often attach to an answer or a single outcome.
Intentions are focused on what I want to manifest while expectations often include how or when change will happen. For this reason, Joshua taught me to hold clear intentions about my desires without growing expectations about how the change will occur.
Here is an example of an intention that leads us toward a new way of life together. This is an intention of acceptance: I open my mind so that I am able to grasp another person’s point of view even when that viewpoint is not aligned with my perception. This exercise expands my ability to see All That Is through many vistas.
I accept that diverse opinions about truth are not right or wrong, and what another person believes cannot create my reality. We have no reason to fear dissimilar beliefs.

Excellent! Your intention is clear and easy to practice. I’m certain that you have more JOY in your life without expecting happiness to appear in any specific manner. I love it!
