After reading the Seth books in the late ’70s, I began a diligent quest to become a channel. My desire to be a channel was powerful – this goal called to me more strongly than any other ambition. With the help of another channel, I was introduced to Joshua in 1980. When I invited his energy into my consciousness, I quickly realized that Joshua has been with me all my life. I suddenly realized that Joshua’s voice was the adult male speaking to me very clearly at the age of four. It gave me joy to assign a name to this voice that I had occasionally heard my entire life.
When I developed an open channel with Joshua, being naturally curious, I wanted to learn about him. I started asking him questions about his existence and point of view. Here is some of what I learned about Joshua.
He has a clear focus and intention. Joshua is not at all interested in making “psychic” predictions, or exhibiting clairvoyant or paranormal behavior. He made it clear the future is our own creation brought about by choices made in the moment. Given our free will regarding moment by moment choices, our future is changeable. Joshua is a teacher of a philosophy he calls the Seventh Major Understanding.
Joshua’s intention is to remind us of Oneness with All That Is.
He calls himself an entity. Joshua tells me he assumes many roles in the non-physical dimensions including the role of teacher, which he also plays in our physical reality. Joshua is the source of many souls scattered throughout time living on earth. He told me that his unlimited being is the source of my soul – my Jordan-essence. The illustration he offered to help me understand this is to picture Joshua like an ocean, and Jordan is a bucket of water scooped from this ocean yet inseparable from it.
Then he went on to explain that Joshua is like an ocean produced by One infinite and eternal Source, and that he and I are inseparable from this Source. We are infinite and eternal now. As an entity, Joshua has numerous channels who work with him toward the goal of manifesting a modern Golden Age that is dawning in our time. He told me to look at this activity like a career path that he selected – for now.
Through the Seventh Major Understanding, Joshua stirs our connection to the “I AM THAT” within All. He asserts that awakening our awareness of oneness with All That Is will strengthen our ability to live cooperatively on earth in our time. Joshua is dedicated to sharing the Seventh Major Understanding because he believes that the message will awaken and strengthen many teachers and healers incarnate at this time. Joshua asserts these people, the teachers and healers of our time, bring increased levels of peace, love, and understanding to the earth now.
Joshua worked (played!) very closely with me to write The Seventh Major Understanding – A Message of Awakening, and most of the book is channeled material. However, Joshua and I seldom make an effort to separate our voice in writing, and I do all of the typing. It’s like taking dictation most of the time.
Joshua prefers speaking over writing, and he refers to himself as a Speaker. While speaking to people, Joshua transmits a feeling of love and humor that isn’t evident in our writing. He says the many Speakers present now carry the responsibility of reminding people about the spiritual knowledge carried within all of us. Joshua tells me that Speakers use many avenues to reach us – including our dreams. One thing is exceedingly clear about Joshua; he likes to talk. He speaks to and through many people.
Joshua has a delightful sense of humor.
When he is near my physical body – I frequently smile, and I hear him laugh often. He reminds me to relax and lighten up when I take myself or our world conditions too seriously. Joshua is deeply compassionate. During channeling sessions, I feel his tenderness combined with an enormous love for all beings. In addition, Joshua feels the energy of the person or group to whom he is speaking.
Joshua is deeply compassionate.
When I channel Joshua – with a complete connection to him, I feel his emotions. Yes, entities have feelings. Sometimes powerful feelings of love for All That Is move me so deeply that tears well up in my eyes while I’m channeling him. I recognize that Joshua is not crying. It is my body that weeps.
When he speaks to me and to others, I feel an infinite depth of understanding, love and forgiveness. Joshua tells me that his feelings of forgiveness spring from the sense of guilt he feels in most people. He says there is no need to be forgiven by some deity for our imagined sins. Our need for forgiveness flows from our judgment of ourselves and others. Joshua urges us to forgive ourselves completely, and then being filled with compassion, our forgiveness of others flows easily.
Joshua teaches us to love ourselves and others.
With endless love and appreciation, I acknowledge and cherish Joshua as the spirit of the age. It is my pleasure and my honor to experience a portion of his being, and with Joshua’s guidance, I wish to serve humanity.
